The book includes prayers for all the days of the year: weekdays; 3 pilgrimage holidays; and high holidays, with many laws such as those of tzitzit and tefilin and more. Hebrew and Yiddish. By Rabbi Yechiel Michel Epstein Segal. With Psalms with a separate title page and Yiddish translation by Moshe Mendelssohn ‘of Dessau’, divided according to the days of the week. The Tehilim was printed in Karlsruhe in [1804]. An old piece of paper, used as a bookmark, can be found in the book. It features a handwritten rendition of the ‘mi shebeirach’ prayer.
Rabbi Yechiel Michel Epstein Segal was a rabbi and doctor in Lublin. He authored the “Kitzur Shnei Luchot HaBrit”. He was the son of Rabbi Avraham of Brisk and son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Yaffe, author of the “Levush”.
Original, used half-leather binding – loose. Aging stains. Gilt cut leaves. The leaves are complete, without blemish. Overall very fine condition. Rare.
