The first prayer book printed in Munich. As emphasized on the title page, this book was printed with the approbation of Rabbi Avraham Bing, rabbi of Wurzburg [noted disciple of Rabbi Natan Adler]. The margins of the title page feature the note that the print letters were brought to Munich from the ancient press of Furth.
Translation on facing pages. With letter from King Ludwig of Bavaria. Parallel title pages in Hebrew and German. Illustrated woodcut frontispiece of the Holy Ark in the new synagogue of Munich. This synagogue was inaugurated that same year, 1827.
