Postcard written and signed by Golda Meir. Milwaukee, United States, 1918.
[1] postcard. 14×9 cm. Written in English, signed “Goldy.”
Rare postcard from Golda Meir when she was about twenty years old and still lived in the United States. That year, about a year after her marriage when she was still living with her parents, Golda was chosen to be a representative in the Jewish American Congress and started her Zionist political career. Golda notes her upcoming trip – one of many – which her family did not appreciate. Signed “Goldy.” Fine condition.
