Seder HaTefillot, prayers for Shabbat and weekdays, per the Sephardic custom. Brought to print by Jacob da Silva Mendez, with his signature (in a foreign language). At the end of the prayer part (page 159b), there is a signature by publisher Jacob da Silva Mendez, cantor of the Sephardic synagogue of Amsterdam in the late 18th century. Before us is a siddur which was printed for the community of conversos from Spain who immigrated to Amsterdam, and on leaves 156-157 there are hashkavah prayers for those who were burned in sanctification of G-d’s Name (among the conversos). Leaf 93 and leaf 158 contain a prayer for salvation in Portuguese. There is a calendar for 114 (!) years, from 1770-1883, on the last six leaves, with instructions in Portuguese.
